Network Engineer
PH Engineering Corp dba Phillip IT Computer Shop seeks Network Engineer in San Diego, CA.
Duties:The Network Engineer needs to deploy, support, and maintain network and low-voltageinfrastructure for small to mid-sized business clients. This role blends network engineering, fielddeployment, and client support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy business networks (office, retail, warehouse, hospitality)
• Troubleshoot internet, firewall, and network performance issues
• Coordinate with ISPs for circuit installation and troubleshooting
• Assist with low-voltage work:o Structured cabling (Cat6, fiber)o Rack installation and labeling
• Maintain clear documentation: network diagrams, IP schemes, credentials
• Provide on-site and remote support for clients
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and emergency response when needed
Requirements:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely relatedfield.
Salary: $72,446 to $75,000 per year
